Franklin Rogers Park is “up the hill” from downtown Mankato, a city on the Minnesota River. The stadium has been rebuilt since the park’s days in the old, affiliated Northern League. Today, the facility serves as the flagship field for Mankato amateur baseball.
I was not able to get into Franklin Rogers Park on my 2010 visit; however, I got here in 2022 for a college summer league game. The field received major upgrades, including new seating, party areas down both foul lines, and artificial turf, in order to better support the Mankato Moondogs of the college summer Northwoods League as well as other amateur baseball. Updated photos will come shortly.
